Experimentation

By using hairspray and fax roll, a great texture can be formed. When using stencils and textured wallpaper, illustrations can be created. The outcome is very exciting as you dont know what it will do! it all depends on how much spray you use!!!!
Tin foil and stencils, for example a face, can also create nice outcomes, crinkled pages, shiny and different. Good way of using house hold implements!

Teesha Moore

Teesha Moore has a very unique way of
working. She tends to work in a scrapbook-like way.
She uses many different medias such as; watercolour,
chalk, pastels, pencil, pen, ink and photographs to create her pieces. She uses written language as part of her art form, however this is not to be read, but to bring the pieces together. She takes very simple images and turns them into something unexpected. I love the use of bright, bold colours and very simple designs which create her pages. She is deffinately an inspirational artist.

Karen Greenberg

These images are from a collection of illustrator, Karen Greenberg. Her work uses simple colours, which complement the story. The simple line work over the top of the block colours create a contemporary effect which leave the colours easy and simple to read.

Jack Molloy

The way Jack Molloy works is very appealing. The use of many medias used to together, work very well. The use of real life objects on top of his work, makes the image stand out that little bit more than others work. The subtle earth tones make these images look like they were created over 40 years ago, this style is one of my favourites.

Elvis Swift

This illustrator uses very organic line techniques, which seem to be continuous. The style of this particular illustrator is very appealing due to the simplicity of using little media. He has also used collage, which adds texture and composure to the image.
